About Me

Caleb Hallgren: A Captain in the Illinois Army National Guard, Caleb Hallgren has dedicated nearly five years to the armed forces. Previously holding leadership positions in the United States Army 2-38 Cavalry Squadron and 2nd Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear and Explosives Battalion, he honed his skills in equipment management, personnel training, and readiness practices. In his current role, Caleb Hallgren oversees the plans section of the 33rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team Headquarters. He balances these responsibilities with studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, where he studies pre-medicine.

In his spare time, Mr. Hallgren stays active through exercise and sports. He practices classical fencing and historical swordsmanship. In addition, Caleb Hallgren possesses a passion for competitive marksmanship and participates in matches hosted by the International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA), 3-Gun Nation, and United States Practical Shooting Association (USPSA). His other interests include cheering on the San Antonio Spurs and going on road trips with his wife, who also serves in the Army.
